Advanced RF Test Laboratory
This world-first virtual laboratory uses the Internet to access some of the best available RF test tools in the world. It will make specialized testing equipment available to microsystems researchers and their graduate students at 21 universities across Canada. It represents a key building block in Canada’s ‘cyber-infrastructure’. The Advanced RF Systems Lab removes a major roadblock in microchip testing, to help move new technologies more quickly into the market.
Part of the National Microelectronics and Photonics Testing Collaboratory
The Advanced RF Test Laboratory, located in the University of Manitoba,
is one of four labs around Canada in the National Microelectronics
and Photonics Testing Collaboratory (NMPTC), which is managed by CMC Microsystems.
